The Voice returns for its 21st season in September with an exciting panel of coaches. Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarksonand John Legend will all return to the red swivel chairs, where they will be joined by multi-Grammy winner Ariana Grande as they search for the next great voice.

Kelly Clarkson returns for her eighth season on The Voice. She is a three-time winner with Brynn Cartelli, Chevel Shepherd and Jake Hoot.

Season 21 marks John Legend’s sixth time as a coach. He won his first season on the show with Maelyn Jarmon.

Ariana Grande will be making her debut as a coach on season 21 of The Voice. Grande appeared on The Voice, performing “Into You,” in 2016, and several artists have covered her songs, but this is her first time in the red swivel chairs.

“I’m so honored and excited to join The Voice family!” Grande said. “I have been a huge fan of the show for such a long time. I can’t wait to go head-to-head with the incredible coaches, get to know these new artists and help to take their craft to the next level.”

Is Nick Jonas coming back to The Voice for season 21?

Nick will be on tour with his brothers—The Remember This Tour—with special guest Kelsea Ballerini, so no, his seat is being filled by the aforementioned Ariana Grande. But count on seeing him return at some point in the not too distant future.

Is Gwen Stefani coming back to The Voice for season 21?

The newly married Gwen will not be returning to The Voice to compete with hubby Blake Shelton for season 21, but she went out with a bang on season 19, winning with contestant Carter Rubin. Instead, she is busy working on new music and her Las Vegas residency.

Which coach has won The Voice the most times?

That would be the only original remaining coach Blake Shelton, who has eight wins during 20 seasons. Voice coaches Adam Levine and Kelly Clarkson are tied for second place with three wins each. Coaches Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani, Usher, Pharrell Williams, Alicia Keys and John Legend each have one win.
