She doesn’t need to justify his love.
Madonna continued her birthday week in Italy by taking in the southern city of Lecce with her boyfriend, Ahlamalik Williams, and her family Tuesday.
The Material Girl and her entourage arrived in Italy earlier in the week to celebrate her 63rd birthday.
Madonna and Williams, 27, strolled around Lecce, nicknamed “The Florence of the South” for its architecture, occasionally pausing for a kiss or two.
The couple have been dating since late 2019.
The “I Don’t Search I Find” songstress was also seen sitting down to have lunch with her children, including daughter Lourdes Leon, 24, son Rocco Ritchie, 21, and her twins, Stella and Estere, 8.
She is also mom to son David and daughter Mercy, both 15.
At one point, Madonna shielded herself from the sun with oversize sunglasses and a wide-brimmed hat, also carrying a brightly colored umbrella with her as she and her group strolled Lecce, taking in the sights.
Yunardi told Page Six Style that the approximately three-pound headpiece took about three weeks to make and includes “a couple hundred” Swarovski crystals.
Her outfit for the Lecce outing also included a shout-out to her fellow pop star Lizzo in the form of the socks Madonna picked for the outing, which read “100% that bitch,” referencing the now-iconic line in Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts.”
In one shot, Madonna appeared to have taken a page from Rihanna’s playbook by strolling the streets with a glass of rosé in hand.
Madonna’s group appeared to be on a sightseeing tour at points, glancing upward at the city’s architecture, which is famous for its elaborately carved facades and religious figures.
Madonna is keeping busy this summer. She hit NYC for her always wild Pride performance, and Page Six exclusively reported in June that she was building a studio on her Bridgehampton property with designer and builder Jeffrey Collé.
She is also set to reissue her music catalog as part of a new publishing deal with Warner Music Group.
Is Khloé’s latest gig a fashion faux pas?
The Good American co-founder will serve as a judge for the brand’s Shein X 100K Challenge, a new design competition, alongside celebrity stylist Law Roach, designer Christian Siriano, former J.Crew exec Jenna Lyons and InStyle style director Laurel Pantin.
Emerging designers will get a chance to win a prize of $100,000, along with a chance to be featured in Shein’s Fall/Winter 2021 virtual fashion showcase.
But like many fast fashion retailers, Shein — which adds nearly 1,000 new items to its inventory daily, with most costing less than $10 — has been accused of copying the work of smaller designers and artists.
And fans made their feelings known in the comments of Kardashian’s post. “Is this a joke???? After shein knocks off small designers,” one person wrote, receiving nearly 2,000 likes.
“Shein is one of the most unethical fast fashion brands,” another said. “They steal designs Khloe. Please don’t promote them,” a third chimed in.
Yet another person pointed out the impact of low-priced, trendy styles on our planet, writing, “Fast fashion is bad for the environment — not cute.”
“Shein takes these issues very seriously and respects the intellectual property rights of artists and designers. We have policies and procedures in place to monitor and swiftly rectify any issues,” a representative for the company told Page Six Style.
“Shein X, is an incubator program that was developed to specifically support small independent talents and give them opportunity to grow their revenue streams, gain exposure, and tap a massive Gen Z audience across the globe. The judges who participated in the Shein X 100k Challenge support emerging, small and independent designers and we are all excited to see their designs and creativity come to life on the show.”
Fellow judges Siriano, Roach and Lyons also faced criticism from their followers after posting about their involvement in the project. The “Project Runway” designer simply announced he’d be deleting the negative comments, while Roach wrote, “My Tribe please just watch this when it airs and you will see why I choose to do this!!! I promise you will be proud of me.”
“Happy for you for the partnership, but it had to Shein?!?!?! They’re ripping off so many indie designers, not to talk about the impact on nature and who knows the conditions of the workers….,” one fan of Zendaya’s stylist commented.
Lyons, meanwhile, pointed to the core mission behind the design competition. “The reason I participated – if you are interested – is because the ENTIRE PROCESS was designed to support young designers, and all of the contestants were incredibly talented, passionate, and deserving of a chance at winning 100k,” she wrote.
The trendsetter resorted to turning off comments, and asked her followers to “take a look at [the program] and see what you think before jumping to conclusions,” adding that “everyone deserves a second chance.”
Kardashian’s sister Kim has previously clashed with fast fashion brands, calling them out for knocking off clothes she wears within days. She even won nearly $3 million from Missguided after filing a lawsuit accusing the company of using her name and likeness to sell lower-priced copies of various outfits she’s worn.
Khloé is far from the first celebrity to pair up with Shein. In 2020, Katy Perry, Lil Nas X, Rita Ora and Doja Cat performed for the brand’s virtual fashion show, which featured special guests Hailey Baldwin, Storm Reid, Tyler Cameron and more.
And earlier this year, Nick Jonas, Steve Aoki, Maren Morris and more performed for another virtual concert for the company. Both events benefited charity.
Reps for Kardashian didn’t immediately respond to Page Six Style’s request for comment.
Selena Gomez is having a Marilyn moment.
The star exudes Old Hollywood glamour on the cover of Elle’s September 2021 issue, pairing blond waves with a classic red lip.
The “Lose You To Love Me” singer, 29, draped herself across a bed for the pinup-style photoshoot, sporting Falke fishnets and a pink tweed Chanel skirt.
She completed the look with a modern touch, donning a printed Chanel T-shirt and choker.
Inside the mag’s first-ever Latinx issue, which Gomez guest-edited, she modeled a series of 1950s-inspired styles, ranging from a lacy Gucci dress to a polka-dotted, off-the-shoulder frock by Prabal Gurung.
For another black-and-white shot, she struck a pose in a fuzzy Chanel sweater and curve-hugging pencil skirt.
While Gomez returned to her natural brunette shade after going platinum in April, she mirrored Monroe’s signature cut and color for her Elle shoot.
Gomez, who stars in the upcoming Hulu series “Only Murders in the Building,” even rocked a sexy spin on argyle knits, pairing a cropped Alessandra Rich sweater and matching hot pants with fishnets.
The Rare Beauty founder – who wore makeup from her own line on the cover– discussed her new role in the accompanying interview. During filming, she recalled washing her mouth out with Listerine after each kissing scene in order to comply with COVID regulations.
“It burned my mouth,” she said. “I was like, ‘I want to throw up.’ I’ve never experienced a set like that.”
The “De Una Vez” hitmaker also opened up about her experiences with social media, discussing the decision to delete the Instagram app on her phone.
“I’ve spent years of my life trying to look like other people,” she said, adding that it was a “relief” to put down her “tiny little phone that had 150 million people on it.”
“I would see an image, and I would be like, ‘My gosh, why don’t I look like that?’ None of that was good for me.”
Ivy Park Rodeo‘s release date has finally arrived, but you’d better giddy-up and get to shopping before it sells out.
“Inspired by the inimitable style and undeniable influence of black
cowboys and cowgirls,” per the press release, the new line from Beyoncé’s Ivy Park x Adidas collaboration is packed with contemporary takes on classic Western wear — with a sporty twist, of course.
In a first for the brand, children’s styles — as modeled by Beyoncé’s own little ones, Blue Ivy, Sir and Rumi Carter — will also be available. And there are five new footwear styles up for grabs, too.
Priced from $25 (for accessories) to $200 (for shoes and outerwear), Ivy Park Rodeo will drop exclusively on Adidas.com at 2 p.m. ET today.
You’ll have a second chance to snag your favorite styles on Friday, though, when the launch expands to include a handful of other retailers: ASOS, Finish Line, Foot Locker, JD Sports, Nordstrom, SNS and StockX, according to E! Online.
Kourtney Kardashian’s all tied up at the moment.
Kardashian and boyfriend Travis Barker’s streak of steamy social media posts continued on Wednesday, with the Poosh founder sharing a photo of her beau kissing her neck while on vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
While the Blink-182 drummer, 45, sported an all-black ensemble for the shot, Kardashian, 42, went for major impact in Fanci’s “Prey” dress ($220).
The striped style appeared to be splitting at the seams, showing off swaths of the star’s skin through cutouts along the sides and bust.
She captioned the loved-up photo, “yummy,” with sister Khloé Kardashian replying, “So sweet.”
Barker – who recently credited Kardashian with helping him take his first post-crash flight – commented, “True Romance.”
The pair are double-dating with Kris Jenner and Corey Gamble in Cabo, prompting one fan to wonder, “Is Kris taking these photos.”
Others commented on Kardashian’s dizzying dress, with one writing, “I’m really into this new punk rock thing she’s got going on. #blinkforever.”
Her latest look isn’t first time she’s given lace-up designs a try, as she sported skintight leather pants last month.
Hanging-on-by-a-thread pieces have also been, well, a common thread in celebrity style as of late. In addition to Kardashian, Dua Lipa and Kylie Jenner are among the many stars who’ve sported clothing that’s bursting at the seams.
Rita Ora put on her best dress to celebrate boyfriend Taika Waititi’s 46th birthday.
The “Your Song” singer, 30, hosted a star-studded dinner party for her director beau, wearing a black mesh Dion Lee dress ($890) with a built-in corset that showed off all her curves.
She paired the sexy long-sleeved number with Christian Louboutin knee-high wedge boots ($1,695) and called herself a “cutie with a boot-ie” on Instagram.
Ora shared tons of pics from the event on Instagram; famous friends in attendance included Ashley Benson, Kate Beckinsale, Rami Malek, Kristen Stewart and more.
Ora and Waititi couple have reportedly been in a relationship since early March but “kept things low key,” according to The Sun. However, the pop star and the Oscar winner now seem ready to step into the spotlight, having made their red carpet debut earlier this month at the “Suicide Squad” premiere.
They first sparked romance rumors in April and were photographed having breakfast together the following month. They even briefly added a third to the mix, kissing and cuddling with Tessa Thompson, who stars in Waititi’s upcoming film, “Thor: Love and Thunder.”
Though it doesn’t seem that Thompson made an appearance at Waititi’s birthday festivities, the three appear to be on good terms.
“Is it that big a deal? No, not really. I was doing nothing wrong. It’s fine,” he said of the viral three-way smooch.
It’s been half a decade since Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s earth-shattering breakup, but somehow the wounds still feel fresh.
Unquestionably one of pop culture’s most iconic couples, Brangelina’s origin story is the stuff of tabloid legend: After sparks flew on the set of their movie “Mr. & Mrs. Smith” in 2004, Pitt left then-wife Jennifer Aniston for the brunette bombshell the following year.
He and Jolie were engaged by 2012, and married at their French chateau in 2014. Together, the power pair raised a brood of six, won awards for both their humanitarian and Hollywood work and supported one another through health struggles and career highs.
In an industry overflowing with seemingly staged relationships, theirs felt like the real deal. So when Brangelina announced they were divorcing in 2016, their split — and the bitter custody battle and fight over assets that followed — threw hopeless romantics for a loop.
Fortunately for those still grieving, there’s now a way to wear your eternal love for Brangelina on your sleeve — and your shoulder.
Praying Brangelina Sweatshirt ($100)
Viral brand Praying, whose tongue-in-cheek designs draw inspiration from Y2K nostalgia, recently released a sweatshirt ($100) and shoulder bag ($89.99) printed with the couple’s photos and portmanteau, along with their relationship’s start and (sob) end dates.
Praying Brangelina Bag ($89.99)
For those who can’t quite bring themselves to buy into Bennifer 2.0, or who find themselves grossed out by Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s PDA parade, there’s never been a better way to rep the celebrity couple that made you truly believe in love — for a time, anyway.
And while these aren’t the first fashion pieces to draw inspiration from Pitt and Jolie’s epic courtship, they’re certainly better than those “Team Aniston” and “Team Jolie” T-shirts.
Kaia Gerber knows what she wants in a man.
Jacob Elordi revealed that his model girlfriend, 19, laid down the law when they first started dating, and nixed his mullet.
“My mom never let me have [a mullet] ’cause she wanted me to be a gentleman, presentable,” he said during his Tuesday night appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” explaining that he “always wanted” the controversial hairstyle.
The “Euphoria” actor, 24, returned home to Australia during the coronavirus pandemic to live with his parents and grow out his hair in peace, without worrying about job prospects.
Though his acting career ultimately didn’t derail his mullet journey, Gerber put the kibosh on the look as soon as they met.
“My girlfriend, within a week of us dating, she cut it off. She took me to the bathroom, and she got scissors out, and she cut it off,” the “Kissing Booth” star revealed.
“She said, ‘You’re cute, but not that cute.’”
Dylan O’Brien is having a blond moment.
For his upcoming role in the Hulu movie “Not Okay,” the actor, 29, traded his dark brown hair for a platinum buzzcut.
The film’s official TikTok debuted his new ‘do, sharing a behind-the-scenes look at the transformation on Tuesday.
In the clip, the star sits down in a hairstylist’s chair as the iconic “Legally Blonde” quote “So you’re breaking up with me because I’m too…blonde?” plays in the background, teasing the transformation.
Seconds later, the “Maze Runner” actor removes his apron, revealing the fresh cut and dye job.
“U guys asked and we delivered. meet Colin,” the “Not Okay” account captioned the video, asking in the comments, “did we break the internet yet.”
While the jury’s still out on whether Elle Woods approves, the internet was certainly sent into a tailspin over the transformation.
“This movie is called ‘not okay’ because after this I’M DEFINITELY NOT OKAY,” a fan commented, while another added, “i guess i’m into blondes now.”
A slew of fans drew comparisons between the “Teen Wolf” heartthrob and other famous faces, including Justin Bieber, Paul Walker and Eminem.
“Dude, dylan o’brien as colin in ‘not okay’ is the real slim shady” one tweeted, while others pointed out the star’s seemingly fake tattoos, commenting, “Okay but why does blonde dylan remind me of zayn malik.”
O’Brien isn’t the only one switching up his style for the upcoming satire film, as his co-star Zoey Deutch also lightened her locks for her role in “Not Okay.”
The actress, 26, was spotted filming in New York on Monday, rocking blond, face-framing highlights.
Guaranteed, Dua Lipa’s latest bathing suit will blow your mind.
The “Levitate” hitmaker, 25, posed poolside on Instagram Tuesday, wearing an impossibly tiny GCDS bikini whose barely-there crochet cups were stitched with a marijuana leaf and a daisy.
The thong bottom of Lipa’s sold-out suit, meanwhile, was adorned with a rainbow in front and a cheeky heart in the back.
“Find urself a girl who puts the same amount of trust in u that Dua does in bikini strings,” one fan joked of the daring design in the comments, while model Maya Stepper wrote, “This bikini is iconic.”
Lipa’s little sister Rina — who joined her for the pool day — and pals including Bebe Rexha, Elsa Hosk and Alana Hadid also dropped comments.
The Grammy winner has sported several other swim styles by the Italian streetwear brand in the past, including a patchwork two-piece and a quirky crochet Care Bears creation. Other famous GCDS fans include Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kacey Musgraves.
Lipa styled her groovy yellow bikini with a pair of pink-tinted sunglasses by the same brand, along with a smattering of equally colorful rings and beaded jewelry from Blobb by Sofia Elias and celebrity favorite Eliou.
She captioned shots of her sun-soaked afternoon with a long string of appropriately groovy emojis, including a toadstool, a daisy and a rainbow.
Sophia Bush is finally showing off her bling.
The former “One Tree Hill” actress, 39, gave fans a glimpse at her engagement ring on Instagram Tuesday, one week after revealing that boyfriend Grant Hughes proposed.
“Leaning into this happiness,” she captioned a smiley pic of Hughes kissing her cheek. “I am deeply aware that joy is not an option for so many around the world in this moment. Clinging to gratitude right now because today it is an option for me.”
Bush’s ring, which was designed by Kantor Gems, features a massive square-cut diamond that appears to be at least 4 or 5 carats, according to Mike Fried, CEO of The Diamond Pro. Fried estimates the ring’s value to be around $150,000, depending on the quality of the stone.
Fried suggests the solitaire diamond is likely a cushion cut, princess cut or radiant cut; the ring itself is also two-tone, made of white gold as well as either rose or yellow gold.
“Sophia’s engagement ring is truly exquisite, just like her proposal in Italy,” Fried said. “The ring is a stunning symbol of the couple’s love and future together.”
Bush’s celeb friends seemed to agree. “The best of times…grab that joy whenever you have the chance. I love you,” co-star Hilarie Burton commented.
“Sooooooooo great!!!!!!!,” added Debra Messing, while chef Andrew Zimmerman wrote, “So happy for you both!!! Congratulations!!! That looks like an engagement ring to me. Beautifully [sic] sentiment too.”
Bush and Hughes, a businessman who lives in Los Angeles, were first spotted together in May 2020, but have since remained very private about their romance.
However, she gushed about the Lake Como proposal, calling it the “most incredible, moving surprise of my life.”
Paulina Gretzky and longtime fiancé Dustin Johnson’s wedding might be right around the corner.
On Tuesday, the model snapped a photo with famed wedding dress designer Vera Wang, pal Jeremy Cohen and her maid of honor, Kristina Melnichenko.
“Let the countdown begin@verawang,” she captioned the pic.
While fans didn’t get a glimpse of Wang’s creation for Gretzky, she did reveal the fashion icon has fulfilled her wishes.
“@verawang i love you so much!!!! wedding dress of dreams coming soon,” she responded in the Instagram comments after Wang’s social media team wrote, “Bridal babe alert . @paulinagretzky WHOA.”
Gretzky, 32, shared in April that she was wedding dress shopping with Wang, giving fans hope that she and the 37-year-old golfer would be finally tying the knot after getting engaged in 2013.
Months before she sipped bubbly with the iconic 72-year-old designer, Gretzky opened up about her relationship with Johnson, with whom she has two young sons.
“I don’t know if people know if me and Dustin are really married or not. We’re not,” Gretzky said on “The Netchicks” podcast in January.
“I don’t want anything from Dustin other than I love him,” she later added.
Move over, Lady Kitty Spencer.
Paris Hilton plans to make her wedding weekend an unforgettable fashion show; the entrepreneur and DJ, 40, revealed that she’s planning a whopping 10 outfit changes when she ties the knot with fiancé Carter Reum.
She explained on “The Tonight Show” on Tuesday that while the wedding planning process has been “very stressful,” picking out a dress is “basically the only thing” she’s checked off so far.
But Hilton won’t stop at just one show-stopping bridal gown, as she told host Jimmy Fallon that that she’s planning to wear “lots of dresses, probably 10.”
“I love outfit changes,” she continued, adding that Reum will likely stick to one style since “he’s not as high maintenance as I am.”
It seems Hilton will have plenty of time to don different dresses, as the couple’s nuptials are set to span several days.
“It’s gonna be like a three-day affair. We have a lot happening,” she said, insisting that she’s “not a bridezilla at all.”
The festivities will all be filmed, giving fans a chance to watch the wedding on the star’s upcoming Peacock docuseries, “Paris in Love.”
“I just feel like for my documentary, ‘This Is Paris,’ it ended in a way in which, you know, it was amazing, but I just feel like I wanted my fans to see that I found my Prince Charming and my happy fairytale ending,” she explained.
The venture capitalist, 40, popped the question on a private island while celebrating Hilton’s 40th birthday, presenting her with a custom emerald-cut engagement ring. Her special sparkler features several meaningful touches, including a sapphire ‘P’ on the inside.
From “Solar Power” to Sun-In?
Lorde released her new song “Mood Ring” on Tuesday, along with an accompanying music video that sees the Grammy winner getting into character as a Goop-y wellness obsessive, swapping her usual brunette curls for a platinum blond wig.
“I sort of underwent something of a transformation for this video because the song is satirical,” the 24-year-old singer told fans during a livestream ahead of the clip’s premiere.
“I was writing from the perspective of a character who is not me, although I have at times shared some of her traits. She’s very cool, I love her vibes.”
In the video, Lorde and a group of gal pals form a prayer circle in a sunlit tent, meditating and burning palo santo while outfitted in matching mint green satin outfits.
The “Green Light” songstress even pokes fun at her blond moment in the lyrics: “Can’t seem to fix my mood / Today, it’s as dark as my roots / If I, if I ever let them grow out,” she sings.
“When making this album I did a deep dive into ’60s flower-child culture. One thing that occurred to me as a major parallel between that time and our time is our wellness culture and our culture of spirituality, pseudo-spirituality, wellness, pseudo-wellness,” Lorde shared in a press release.
“Things like eating a macro-biotic vegan diet or burning sage, keeping crystals, reading tarot cards or your horoscope. These were all things that they were dabbling in back then, and that me and my girlfriends are dabbling in today.”
Lorde’s third studio album, “Solar Power,” is out Friday, August 20. “Mood Ring” marks the LP’s third single, following “Stoned at the Nail Salon” and “Solar Power.”
