Kim Kardashian Source Explains Why She 'Isn't Happy' with Kanye West After Event in Chicago

Sources close to Kim Kardashian are speaking out after her appearance on stage at Kanye West‘s third listening event for Donda.

The 40-year-old reality star has faced some backlash for appearing in the event because Kanye also was joined on stage by controversial figures like Marilyn Manson and DaBaby.

Kim walked on stage during the final song of the night, wearing a Balenciaga Couture wedding dress while the song “No Child Left Behind” played.

One source told People that Kim missed the appearances from DaBaby and Manson. That source said, “She was seated inside a suite facing the back of the house on the stage so she would not have been able to see them at all from her vantage point. She wasn’t in the loop at all about what was happening at the show. She was only aware of what Kanye had asked her to do, and she was willing to help him.”

A second source said that she “isn’t happy” with Kanye and was there because she wanted to be supportive.

Kanye will always be family to Kim. When Kanye is doing well and is happy, it benefits the kids,” the second source said. “Kim is the first one to support his visions. He asked her to be part of the listening event and she said yes without hesitation. She didn’t know that Marilyn Manson would be there too. She understands why there is backlash. Kim is all about positive publicity. She would have never participated if she knew Manson would be there.”

A third source explained how Kim wasn’t aware of what would happen at the event.

That source said, “A lot of it took her by surprise. But then you have to decide: Do you bail at the last minute, or do you do what you agreed to do? In the end, she decided to stay and fulfill her promise. That doesn’t mean that she supports Marilyn Mansion or DaBaby and the things they believe. She was there to support the father of her children.”

A source recently explained why Kim will not be removing “West” from her name despite her divorce from Kanye.

Halsey is opening up about their pregnancy.

While promoting their new album If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power, the 26-year-old singer opens up about all the criticism they received for working while pregnant.

“I’m 26, and I tried very hard for this pregnancy and it was like, I’m financially independent, I’m pretty far along in my career, it feels like the right time for me to do it,” Halsey said in an interview with Zane Lowe on New Music Daily on Apple Music 1.

Halsey and boyfriend Alev Aydin welcomed their first child Ender last month.

Despite the pregnancy being planned, Halsey admits they had “feelings of shame” over people criticizing their decision to have a baby.

After some time, Halsey realized that there will also be people criticizing everything they do.

“So f–k ‘em and I just was like, I’m going to do what I want to do,” Halsey said. “You know what I mean? I was like, this is important to me.”
