Dallas Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy doesn't sound interested in Cam Newton despite his thin situation at backup behind Dak Prescott

The Patriots haven’t only given their starting quarterback job to Mac Jones. They’ve gotten rid of Cam Newton altogether.

Newton has been released, according to Jim McBride of the Boston Globe and then later confirmed by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
