Remedy and Epic Games have announced that Alan Wake Remastered will launch for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One on October 5, 2021. This ties in with a retailer leak that came to light on recently, so that’s good to know it was on the money.
Alan Wake Remastered will include enhanced visuals for modern consoles and all of the two DLC releases, The Signal and The Writer. You can see how it’s shaping up in the first screenshots of the game here.
Alan Wake was originally released for the Xbox 360 and PC in 2010 and 2012, respectively. The game sees the titular writer travelling to Bright Falls, Washington, to find his missing wife Alice while battling against supernatural enemies known as the Taken.
While the game never received a proper sequel, Epic and Remedy are teaming up on a new project that’s just entered full production, which is heavily rumored to be Alan Wake 2. We can hope!
