Brooke Shields’ 1980s Calvin Klein ads are downright iconic, but she never expected to make fashion history.

The supermodel, 56, starred in the denim advertisements at just 15 years old, instantly sparking controversy with the line, “What comes between me and my Calvins? Nothing.”

Several TV networks even banned the commercials for being too provocative.

“It just struck me as so ridiculous, the whole thing,” Shields told Vogue of the “shocking” backlash.

“I was naive, I didn’t think anything of it. I didn’t think it had to do with underwear, I didn’t think it was sexual in nature.”

As for the ad’s infamous tagline? “If they had intended on the double entendre, they didn’t explain it to me … It didn’t faze me,” she recalled.

Shields said viewers seemed to assume that she was “much more savvy” than she was at the time, adding, “I was a virgin. I was a virgin forever after that … and then that became the thing people hooked into.”

The brunette beauty did admit that she’s since realized her ads were more suggestive than she initially thought.

“The choreography was specific and intentional,” she said. “Yeah, at 56 I can go back and look at the camera and see, ‘Oh, well, they’re zooming in kind of on my crotch area and then it comes to my face, okay.’”

But, as Shields added: “Sex has sold since the dawn of time.”

Today, the mom of two daughters — Rowan, 18, and Grier, 15 — is proud of the commercial’s impact. In fact, Shields recently teamed up with Calvin Klein again for an underwear campaign, showing more than she ever did in her teenage years.

“On the one hand, I don’t think you could get away with a lot of what I did in the ’80s now — but by the same token, so much more is done now than what we would’ve ever dreamt of doing,” she said.

“And there is an assimilation of sexuality now that I certainly didn’t have when I was 15, whereas now I see my teenagers with different body images, and different fears and different insecurities.”

Added Shields, “We were pretty protected from a lot of that back then. I appreciate being so protected in my naiveté, because I feel as if I was relatively unscathed.”

Gwyneth Paltrow might be selling a “DTF” dietary supplement, but that doesn’t mean she’s an expert in all modern slang.

The 49-year-old Goop founder was among the first to get her hands on the new Skims x Fendi collaboration, after Kim Kardashian gifted her pieces from the soon-to-be-released collection.

But when it came time to unbox the designer duds on Instagram Stories, she recruited her 17-year-old daughter Apple to explain some of the styles…and the meaning of “snatched.”

“What is that?” she asked while looking at a camel-colored bodysuit, with Apple replying, “This is so you can get nice and snatched.”

“What is snatched?” Paltrow then wondered, before writing, “I have now learned that ‘snatched’ means I am killin it (?).”

Apple later asked her mom if she felt snatched while holding up another bodysuit, with the star replying, “Is this going to make me snatched?”

“Yeah 100%, it’s going to snatch the house down,” laughed Apple, who also told her mom she’d teach her the “right way” to do an unboxing.

Paltrow isn’t the only one showing off Skims x Fendi ahead of the collaboration’s Nov. 9 release, as Heidi Klum also shared a series of cheeky snaps in the designs.

While it may be the “Ironman” actress’ first unboxing, it’s not the first time she and Kardashian, 41, have swapped pieces from their brands. In March, amid the Skims founder’s split from Kanye West, Paltrow gifted her pleasure-themed products from Goop.

The racy gifts, which came in a box labeled, “Kim’s box of tricks,” included her brand’s double-sided vibrator and a custom version of Goop’s famed “This Smells Like My Orgasm” candle, labeled — of course — “This Smells Like Kim’s Orgasm.” The votive, created in collaboration with Heretic, followed the trail blazed by the viral “This Smells Like My Vagina” candle.

Kim isn’t the only Kardashian with a sexy customized candle from Paltrow, however, as Travis Barker once posted a photo of a “This Smells Like Kourtney’s Orgasm” candle dedicated to his now-fiancé, Kourtney Kardashian.

Christina Haack is paying tribute to fiancé Josh Hall.

The former “Flip or Flop” star, 38, showed off a new trio of bracelets she designed in collaboration with jewelry brand The Lace Project on her Instagram Story — including one dedicated specifically to Hall.

Called “The Josh,” the $85 bauble is made with matte black onyx beads and rough-cut black tourmaline.

According to the website, black tourmaline is a “hugely powerful stone for those who want to wear a constant cloak of protection. Black tourmaline grants you that deep-seated self confidence to embrace who you are and speak your truth.”

The other two designs are called “Strength” ($160) and “Courage” ($170), and are made from Murano glass beads, jade and gold hematite and Murano glass beads, fire agate and black onyx, respectively.

Haack also posted a photo of herself and Hall holding hands and wearing the newly launched bracelets. “Josh x Christina,” she captioned the post, adding, “Lovers lace set” with a red heart.

The “Christina on the Coast” star announced her engagement to Hall last month. after he proposed with a custom-designed 5-carat ring.

Haack was previously married to her “Flip or Flop” co-star, Tarek El Moussa — with whom she shares 10-year-old daughter Taylor and 6-year-old son Brayden — from 2009 to 2018. She was later married to Anstead, the father of her 2-year-old son, Hudson, from 2018 to 2021.

El Moussa married “Selling Sunset” star Heather Rae Young on Oct. 23, while Haack and Hall have yet to announce plans for their nuptials.

Kendall Jenner might not be the latest Kardashian to get engaged, but she’s still sporting a veil.

The 25-year-old model debuted her Halloween costume a little early this year, sharing a series of photos dressed in a corpse bride costume, complete with a long, lacy veil and sheer gloves.

She put a skin-baring spin on the bridal look, rocking a white thong and bra with retro Giuseppe Zanotti heels.

It seems she tried on several styles before settling on the set, as she shared Instagram Stories wearing both lace and leather corsets.

Perhaps she borrowed the idea from her newly engaged sister Kourtney Kardashian, who got some practice being a bride when she rocked her own corpse bride costume back in 2016.

The 818 Tequila founder captioned the artsy series, shot by photographer Dana Trippe, “yer corpse bride,” leading boyfriend Devin Booker to reply, “don’t forget!”

Her famous friends and family members were loving the look too, with sister Kylie Jenner commenting, “obsessed,” while Lauren Perez — whose bachelorette party Kendall recently attended — wrote, “!!!!! WHATTT!!!!!”

With the Kardashian-Jenners known to sport multiple costumes each year, it’s unclear whether she’ll say “I do” to this look on October 31, or debut a completely different one.

The corpse bride look comes weeks after Jenner shared a throwback photo of her sexy Pamela Anderson costume from 2020, captioned, “gotta figure out Halloween.”

She sported a different monochromatic, corseted costume to channel Anderson, donning fishnets and black leather to recreate the actress’ look from the 1996 cult classic “Barb Wire.”

Since the star’s birthday is on November 3, she regularly goes all out for Halloween, often sporting costumes to her Halloween-themed birthday bashes.

That’s one haute hand-me-down.

One week after dressing her children in vintage looks from her own closet for the LA premiere of “Eternals,” Angelina Jolie brought the bulk of her brood back for the Marvel movie’s UK red carpet.

And ahead of the event, she once again opened up her wardrobe to her kids, with daughter Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 15, standing out in an altered version of the black-and-white Dior dress her mother, 46, wore for a “Maleficent: Mistress of Evil” press conference in 2019.

While Jolie’s original tropical-print frock featured a wrap-style bodice and a floor-sweeping hemline, Shiloh’s youthful spin on the style had gathered straps, a sweetheart neckline and a much shorter length.

But Shiloh wasn’t the only of her siblings looking chic on the carpet; her older sister Zahara, 16, went bold in an off-the-shoulder chartreuse mini, while brothers Maddox, 20, and Knox, 13, opted for blazers in charcoal and Black Watch plaid, respectively.

And in perhaps the ultimate show of sustainability, Knox’s twin Vivienne showed up in the same upcycled cream-colored dress she wore at last week’s premiere.

Jolie, meanwhile, wore a custom Valentino Haute Couture look comprised of an oversized black blazer and sweeping maxi skirt layered over a white silk button-up shirt.

While doing “Eternals” press earlier this week, the star said she loves when her children borrow pieces from her wardrobe — even precious designer looks she’s sported on major red carpets.

“I’m like, ‘Oh my god, wear it and wear it better than me! Take it, it’s your turn,’” she told E! News’ “Daily Pop.”

At the flick’s LA premiere, for instance, Zahara turned heads in her mom’s silver embellished Elie Saab Haute Couture gown from the 2014 Oscars, while Shiloh showed up in a tailored version of a beige Gabriela Hearst dress Jolie recently wore in Paris.

The Academy Award winner shares all of her kids — including 17-year-old Pax, who hasn’t been making the red carpet rounds — with ex-husband Brad Pitt.

With a stacked list of superstar clients including Ryan Reynolds, Rami Malek, Bradley Cooper and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, stylist Ilaria Urbinati is a true maestro of men’s fashion.

“When I started out, there were a lot more rules to menswear. People were not paying attention to men’s clothes; they didn’t care or notice,” Urbinati, who got her start as a fashion consultant on Showtime’s “The L Word,” told Page Six Style.

“But these days, there are no rules. The game has changed so much.”

For proof, look no further than Chris Evans’ Prince Charming-inspired look at the 2019 Oscars, or Donald Glover’s brown velvet Gucci suit at the 2017 Golden Globes. Both Urbinati-styled outfits turned heads — and made headlines.

“This was the very first time I dressed [Donald Glover],” Urbinati said of this brown velvet Gucci moment from the 2017 Golden Globes. “He came in — we had just met — and there was a rack full of clothes. I said, ‘That’s the one you should wear.’ He said, ‘I completely agree.’ And he put it on, and then it kind of ‘broke the internet,’ as the kids say.”

“With menswear, there are more parameters. Trying to work my way out of the box is fun for me,” the wardrobe whiz said, adding that one of her favorite parts of the job is breaking clients out of their comfort zones “just enough that they’re evolving their style.”

“Men are really surprised when they try on something new that they didn’t think would work — and then it does!” she added.

“It’s fun to play with people’s idea of his image,” Urbinati said of her work with The Rock, seen here in Dolce & Gabbana at the “Jumanji: The Next Level” premiere in 2019. “We started playing with color — he’s worn chartreuse, he’s worn pink, he’s worn powder blue — and he still looks very masculine and very cool.”

Of course, the fashion pro knows that most guys don’t spend their days posing on red carpets, nor are they able to keep a personal dresser on their payroll. That’s partly what inspired her to launch Leo, her men’s lifestyle website, which celebrated its first anniversary this month.

“I felt that the men’s space was lacking a one-stop shop,” she explained of the site, a passion project she started early in the pandemic.

“You can come here and read about style, but also read about football, a new book or film or podcast, get a cooking recipe or a cocktail recipe, or read about cigars or cars,” she continued. “The rule with Leo is: If it’s something that would appeal to men, it goes.”

“A good, slim belt with a slim buckle is really hard to find. Even for me, when I go to stores, it’s almost always big buckles, big wide belts. Margaret Qualley is rocking those iconic linked Cs by the sea.

The “Maid” star, who serves as a brand ambassador for Chanel, posed in nothing but strategically placed purses from the label in a seaside snap on Instagram Monday.

She carried five of the fashion house’s signature quilted bags for the nude photoshoot, even holding one tote in her teeth.

The designer bags appeared to include two silver versions of Chanel’s classic flap bag ($8,500), a pink Small Flap Bag ($4,600), a tiny pale blue bag, and a metallic drawstring design.

Her famous followers and family members supported the stripped-down shoot in the comments. “FUN,” wrote mom Andie MacDowell, along with a heart emoji, while Lily-Rose Depp added, “I love you Margaret !!!!!!!!”

Other fans were focused on the thousands of dollars in handbags strapped to the 27-year-old star, with one quipping, “She can’t afford clothes because she spent all her money on Chanel bags,” and another commenting, “That settles it…..I’m buying purses.”

It’s far from Qualley’s first high-fashion photoshoot, as she’s also served as the face of Celine and played a standout role in a short film shot by Spike Jonze for Kenzo’s Kenzo World fragrance.

And as an ambassador for Chanel since 2020, she’s appeared in multiple ads for the label, and even walked the runway in a bridal gown for the fashion house’s Fall 2021 couture show in Paris.

She’s not the only star putting her own spin on Chanel looks these days, however, as her nude photoshoot came the same day that fellow ambassador Kristen Stewart attended the “Spencer” premiere in a midriff-baring look from the brand.

For Angelina Jolie, sharing is caring — even when it comes to her collection of couture.

While doing press for “Eternals” on Monday, the 46-year-old actress confirmed that her six children have free rein over her fashion archives, and nothing’s off limits.

“I’m like, ‘Oh my god, wear it and wear it better than me! Take it, it’s your turn,’” Jolie told E! News’ “Daily Pop,” adding that unlike some parents who keep close tabs on their closets, she’s the “opposite.”

That open-door policy was clearly in full effect ahead of the red carpet premiere of Jolie’s new Marvel movie last week, with five of her brood showing up in styles borrowed from their famous mom.

The star’s eldest daughter Zahara, 16, dazzled in the silver beaded Elie Saab Haute Couture gown Jolie wore to the 2014 Oscars, while 15-year-old Shiloh sported an altered version of a beige Gabriela Hearst slip dress her mother recently wore in Paris.

Vivienne, 13, looked sweet in a knee-length cream dress with wide sleeves, while twin Knox rocked a green-and-black striped vest and skirted pants. And Maddox, 20, went sharp with classic black suiting.

Dressed in a brown draped Balmain ensemble accessorized with vintage Tiffany & Co. jewels and head-turning gold lip cuff by Nina Berenato, Jolie herself was the only family member wearing anything new.

“My kids are all mixed with vintage, and in my old Oscars dress. We did all vintage and upcycled my old stuff,” she told ET at the event.
