Konami has announced that it has postponed eFootball update 1.0.0 until Spring 2022, and has also cancelled and refunded the game’s Premium Player Pack, which featured items only included in the planned update.
The company issued a statement on the game’s official website:
We have been working diligently towards distributing an update that will bring new content to the game, including a new mode where you can strengthen and play with an original team, as well as support for mobile devices on November 11, 2021.
Unfortunately, we have concluded that more time is needed to deliver the product in the quality that will meet the expectations of our users and have decided to postpone the delivery.
Konami added that it will still release eFootball update 0.9.1 today which will fix a number of bugs across all versions of the game, and has pledged to “continue to improve and update our game.”
eFootball is now available for PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
