10-Minute Banana Bread Donuts
In a food processor, add the yogurt and banana and pulse until you achieve a runny and smooth consistency. Feel free to add ½ tsp cinnamon, tiny pinch of nutmeg and 1 tsp vanilla.
In a bowl combine self-raising flour and the pureed banana mixture. Mix until well combined but don’t over mix.
The donut dough/batter should look loose.( Check the video for consistency) If the batter looks too dry, you can add a splash of milk.
Pour the sticky mixture into a piping bag fitted with a round tip.
Bring the oil to 170 °C (340 °F) and fry the donuts in batches until golden.
Toss the donuts in the sugar.
If you don’t have self rising flour you can use 1 cup of all purpose flour + 1 ½ tsp Baking POWDER (not soda)
