Sidibe is happy about this recent development, and she’s all loved up with her entertainment professional beau. The movie star had earlier opened up about her relationship with Brandon when she graced the cover of Bride’s Style issue in May. Sidibe had a lot to say about her beau in May, and it gets cuter as they get engaged.

Following Brandon Frankel‘s proposal, Gabourey Sidibe looks excited to wed her man in 2023. According to the movie star, she’s happy that her BFF got to propose, and now she gets to hold him forever. The love-engrossed movie star referred to her beau as the sweetest human alive and the funniest man she ever met.

Fans can’t wait for Gabourey Sidibe to wed Brandon Frankel as she seems to be in love with him. The Oscar-nominated actress pointed out that initially, she couldn’t imagine dating someone she actually liked. However, it turns out that it’s totally possible. She is really happy to have been wrong about where she was headed initially, partnership-wise.

It’s a year and a half after Sidibe and Frankel got engaged. Sidibe discussed details of her upcoming wedding with Brides. But she also disclosed that they don’t have everything figured out yet. The couple is sure that they will be actively involved in the planning process.

As Gabourey Sidibe and Brandon Frankel get set to wed, they are conscious of one thing that won’t be a part of their big day. The intending couple has agreed to exclude tradition from their wedding plans. They want to reflect on their wedding and see that it felt like a true party. According to Sidibe:

“It cannot be a traditional wedding. Really, it can’t be. I don’t want anything done the ‘traditional’ way.”

The 39-year-old actress pointed out that walking down the aisle in a traditional white wedding dress may not be a reality for her. She wants something colorful with a trace of her West African heritage.
