Publishing powerhouse Take-Two has revealed that it has a whopping eight ‘new iterations of previously released titles’ in development, which in layman’s terms translates to remakes and or/remasters.
We already the an idea of what some of these are, however. Firstly, there’s the mobile version of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition for mobile platforms, as well as the Max Payne and Max Payne 2 remakes.
Unfortunately, Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption are unlikely to be part of these eight planned titles, as both games were apparently planned at some stage before being cancelled.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition was released last year on PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One, although the game was plagued by numerous technical hiccups and didn’t sell as well as Take-Two had hoped for.
