Rockstar Games has seemingly waved goodbye to Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online following a new update to GTA V and GTA Online.

It reads: “Our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has helped create Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online.” While it’s not actually known if this is merely to acknowledge those who worked on the games, a lot of fans are taking this as Rockstar’s goodbye to Red Dead Redemption 2.

It’s not too surprising if this is the case, as Rockstar has confirmed that it is now working on Grand Theft Auto 6 and that it won’t be bringing any more content updates to Red Dead Online this year. Fans have already held a funeral for the game, having previously expressed their disappointment about the lack of updates.
