‘The View’ slammed for not asking Hugh Grant about ‘rude’ Ashley Graham interview
The “spineless” co-hosts of “The View” are being called out for not addressing Hugh Grant’s viral interview with Ashley Graham during the actor’s appearance on the talk show Thursday.
“Awful you didn’t bring up Ashley Graham smh,” one user tweeted after the segment aired.
Another viewer agreed, “how could you not address the Ashley Graham interview with Hugh grant?
“I’m guessing he said he didn’t want to discuss it which unfortunately makes me feel he’s as arrogant as I thought he might be. #TheView.”
A third critic added, “Spineless no one asked about Oscars Red Carpet interview,” while a fourth reiterated, “So, I guess Hugh Grant went to the #TheView with the agreement not to touch what happened with him and Ashley Graham? Because not a word, let alone a sentence!”
Grant, 62, went on “The View” Thursday to promote his new film, “Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves,” and co-hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farrah Griffin noticeably avoided the elephant in the room.
Instead, the ladies discussed the “Four Weddings and a Funeral” star’s reunion with his former co-star Andie MacDowell on the Oscars 2023 stage, when they presented together for the award for Best Production Design.
“You two seemed to have had a good time,” Goldberg, 67, pointed out without making any mention of Grant’s red carpet blunder with Graham, 35.
A rep for “The View” did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment on why the topic was avoided altogether.
On Sunday evening, Graham — who was one of ABC’s red carpet hosts — asked Grant a series of questions that he was clearly not interested in answering.
For instance, the “Pretty Big Deal” podcast host asked the “Love Actually” star whether he was rooting for any nominee, and he dryly replied, “No one in particular.”

The duo also shared an awkward moment when Grant referenced the 1848 novel “Vanity Fair” and Graham thought he was talking about the annual magazine party.
By the end of the interview, the “Undoing” alum was seen rolling his eyes as he walked off.
Viewers were torn about who came off worse during the interview.

Some called Grant “rude” and a “jerk” for how he treated Graham, while others thought the model was ill-prepared and asked “stupid questions.”
When asked about the viral moment after the awards show, Graham said in response, “My mama told me to kill people with kindness, so there you go.”
Grant has yet to address the backlash and his rep has not returned Page Six’s repeated requests for comment.
Khloé Kardashian is not back with her serial cheater ex, Tristan Thompson – despite her public birthday message celebrating the father of her two kids.
“Being single and posting love quotes to confuse people is another level of fun :),” read a quote that was re-posted to the reality star’s Instagram Story on Wednesday.
Kardashian, 38, was referring to three other quotes about love that she posted via her Stories before hinting at her single status.
“Love is much bigger than relationships,” one of the quotes, by Yung Pueblo (aka Diego Perez), stated.
“Love is the way you heal yourself, the kindness you give to others, the gentleness you give yourself during turbulent times, the space you hold for close friends, the intention you use to live in the present, and the energy that changes the world,” the quote continued.
“It’s every moment that elevates the human experience and all the small things that make life shine.”
Kardashian shared another quote about pain by Melissa Evelyn, as well as an unattributed quote about kindness.
“My kindness has no motive. I’m kind, because I’m kind. I’m already blessed,” the cryptic quote stated.
The Good American founder’s clarification on her relationship status came just days after she gushed over the basketball player — with whom she shares daughter True, 4, and a 7-month-old son — on his 32nd birthday Monday.
“You are truly the best father, brother & uncle,” Kardashian wrote. “Your love, attention, silly dances, hugs, carpool rides, bed time rituals, the way u show up for them. All of the above means more than you’ll ever know to your family of littles.”
However, she also seemingly shaded Thompson, who has cheated multiple times and fathered a child with another woman as he and Kardashian geared up to welcome their second child together via surrogate.

“My birthday wish for u is that u continue to crave change, healing, and transformation,” she wrote. “Be strong, be kind, be patient, be free.”
Still, she ended on a high note and concluded, “Continue to Make your soul and your mommy proud. Happy birthday baby daddy.”
The “Kardashians” star turned the comments section off on the post, seemingly avoiding any comments from critics who would drag the mom of two for speaking so highly of Thompson after his many cheating scandals.
The next day, Kardashian took to social media to post several obscure quotes including one about people who don’t “deserve” her love.
She also shared a selfie to her Instagram grid, which was flooded with comments from netizens bashing Thompson as allegedly being a bad father and an even worse partner.
Thompson and Kardashian welcomed their son via surrogate in August 2022, though they have yet to reveal his name.

The on-again, off-again pair split in February 2019 after he was unfaithful several times. However, they briefly reconciled the following year until he was caught cheating again.
Thompson owned up to having sex with Maralee Nichols in March 2021 and their son, Theo, was born in December of that year.
Amid the baby news, Kardashian swiftly dumped Thompson, who also shares 6-year-old son Prince with ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig. They have seemingly not rekindled their love since.
